About the service
The Psychological Services Team is integrated with the community mental health teams and as such offer assessment and treatments to adults with a variety of mental Health difficulties including:
- Eating disorders
- Psychotic disorders
- The full range of anxiety, depression and other mood disorders
- Complex trauma and personality related distress
Early recognition and attention to psychological needs can reduce distress and hopelessness and improve how people progress. Working as part of multi-disciplinary teams and across services, our staff help patients, their carers and the staff caring for them to benefit from a fuller understanding of their condition and in support of psychological adjustment and recovery.
