Our vision is to improve outcomes for children and young people through the provision of evidence-based care across a wide range of services, delivered by a highly trained and well supported workforce.

We aim for high quality, choice, flexible access and the inclusion of children, young people and their families or carers in the development and delivery of our services.

We offer specialist mental health services to children and young people (up to 18 years) and their families. We recognise that growing up can be stressful and worrisome at times. Feeling sad, lonely, worried, angry, frightened or feelings that nobody understands you are common feelings. We also know that children, young people and their families can become unwell at times. The CAMHS service is made up of multi-disciplinary teams staffed by social workers, mental health nurses, therapists, clinical psychologists, mental health practitioners and child and adolescent psychiatrists. They work with parents and children to promote the development of children and young people so they can flourish at home and when they get to school.

Services available are for children, young people and their families/carers who have concerns about mental health, behaviour or emotional wellbeing.
