Neuro and Old Age Psychiatry (NOAP) is one of six directorates within North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust offering services to the local population. This directorate provides specialist mental health services focusing on the needs of vulnerable people with complex healthcare needs.
The main focus of NOAP services is to support rehabilitation (reducing disability and increasing social role) and recovery. To enable this to happen there is a strong emphasis on collaborative working using a person-centred approach; putting people and carers who use our services at the centre of all stages of assessment, care-planning and organisational development.
Our staff are skilled in the delivery of specialist care and deliver high quality, evidence-based, person-centred care focused on clinical excellence.
