We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Draycott as Director of People, OD and Inclusion.
Paul will be taking up his role with the Trust towards the end of Autumn from Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, where he is currently Director of Workforce, OD and Communications.
Paul will be well known to many of our own staff, having previously served as Combined Healthcare’s Director of Leadership and Workforce for three years between 2014 and 2017. As such, he was a key member of the Trust’s leadership team which began Combined’s improvement journey Towards Outstanding.
Paul has over 30 years experience in the NHS, initially as a general nurse. He has workforce and organisational development experience across mental health, community, acute and commissioning and this is his fifth Director post. Paul has also recently served as the Hampshire and Isle of Wight lead for workforce inequalities and his long-standing track record and commitment to the inclusion agenda is particularly well known and respected.

In the period running up to Paul taking up his post, the Trust’s existing Deputy Director of People, Kerry Smith, will become Acting Director of People, OD and Inclusion.
