About the service

The Children’s and Young People’s Community Learning Disability Team is a community-based service for children and young people with a learning disability.

The team provides high-quality, timely, evidence-based services to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people aged 0 months to 18 years. The service accepts referrals for children and young people who are showing signs of psychological and mental health problems and severe and complex emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The team provides a range of person-centred health services for children and young people living within North Staffordshire who have a significant developmental delay or moderate/severe learning disability and/or physical disability.
