REACH 2025 in partnership with Dedalus logo

North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust is delighted and proud to announce the return of its annual REACH Awards.

The 2025 awards will take place on 13 November at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Stoke-on-Trent.  For those not able to attend in person, the whole event will be broadcast live via our social media and this website.

REACH (Recognising Excellence and Achievement in Combined Healthcare) celebrates our staff, service user representatives and carers over the past year.

Dr. Buki Adeyemo, Chief Executive, shared her thoughts:

“REACH truly embodies the best of Combined Healthcare and our vision to be Outstanding in ALL we do and HOW we do it.”

“We don’t just gather each year to hand out accolades and awards – as important as that is. We come together to have fun, reconnect with familiar colleagues, and meet new ones. It’s an opportunity to learn more about the incredible breadth and diversity of our work and how we do it.”

“The fantastic submissions we receive each year demonstrate the relentless pursuit of continuous improvement and innovation that burns brightly at Combined.”

“Being part of these Awards is the highlight of my year. I eagerly look forward to reading all the wonderful nominations we will receive and encourage everyone to submit as many as they can.”

Recent updates

As NHS staff across the country continue to work under intense pressure, Combined Healthcare will be able to provide crucial support to help improve the wellbeing of local NHS staff, both now and in the future, thanks to a £49,998 grant from NHS Charities Together and NHS England. The grant has been awarded as part of an £11 million programme – which includes a £5 million contribution from NHS England – and is one of 61 ambitious projects across England to receive funding from the programme since its launch in 2024.
The latest digital learning film from Combined - unveiled today - features its Digital Trainer FRED (Finance and Resources Expert in Delivery) explaining the principles and practice lying behind our Cost Improvement Programme (CIP). The film is available in two formats. The first is a traditional 16:9 film, suitable for screens, mobile devices and tablets. The second places FRED in a fully immersive 360 degree virtual reality environment, and can be watched online or for the full immersive experience via a VR headset such as Apple Vision Pro or Meta Quest Pro.
