Working within North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust, the Forensic Liaison Partnership (FLP) team aims to enhance the patient flow from forensic care to non-forensic services, for Stoke and North Staffordshire service users who no longer require the specialist input from a specialist forensic team. The FLP team works in partnership with forensic inpatient providers, the forensic community team (FIRST), commissioning teams, non-forensic secondary care providers and third sector organisations to ensure safe and effective transitions out of forensic services with secondary care mental health providers (CMHTs)
