Janet Dawson

Janet was Vice Chair and an independent director until 31st March 2024, before taking up the role of Chair from 1st April 2024. Her role is to gain assurance that the Trust meets all its governance, clinical, corporate, legal and statutory obligations, as well as ensuring it remains financially sustainable and delivers excellent service. 

With a particular interest in facilitating diverse, inclusive and engaging cultures and championing women to fulfil their potential, Janet also acted as the Trust’s Chair of the People, Culture and Development Committee and Wellbeing Guardian for the Trust and non-executive lead on Freedom to Speak Up.
