Joe McCrea

Joe joined the Trust in December 2016 after serving as the Director of Communications at East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG.

He has over 30 years of experience in public sector, NHS, and health communications, bringing a strong background in engagement and public affairs at a senior level. His expertise spans both policy and service perspectives, having worked with organisations such as the Department of Health, the Cabinet Office, and 10 Downing Street.

Joe’s career also includes roles within various NHS bodies, including acute and community NHS trusts, the NHS Confederation, the NHS Leadership Academy, and the East Leicestershire and Rutland GP Federation.
