At Combined Healthcare, our widening participation initiative is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce by providing various career pathways and opportunities.
We actively engage with schools and colleges to inspire young minds about healthcare careers, offering apprenticeships and work experience programs to give hands-on exposure.
Our commitment extends to supporting T Levels, providing care leavers with tailored internships and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has the chance to thrive in the healthcare sector.
Our widening participation plan links with the national People Promise to be inclusive and representative and to achieve potential and aspirations. This links nationally within the work streams:

The trust supports a number of events across our cornerstone schools and colleges as well as linking in with the ICS (Integrated Care System) roadshows.
