Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Ascend Recovery Service provides training, consultation, staff support and evidence-based psychological services for people aged 16 and above who have experienced sexual assault or abuse.
The service works in partnership with Staffordshire Women’s Aid and Savana and aims to bridge the gap between primary and secondary NHS services.

Our team consists of a clinical psychologist, CBT therapists, mental health practitioners, an education trainer, a research assistant, assistant psychologists, peer support workers, and a team administrator.
We currently take referrals from staff within existing NHS services (such as talking therapies) and our VCSE sector partner agencies (Savana and Staffordshire Women’s Aid).
