About the service

The Parent and Baby Service is a specialist perinatal secondary mental health service. The service is interested in the prevention, detection and management of perinatal problems that complicate pregnancy and the postpartum year.

These problems can include new difficulties, recurrences of previous difficulties, and those women who have existing mental health problems. The team at the Parent and Baby Service provides a comprehensive service of high intensity with customised treatments for parents with psychological disorders associated with pregnancy and childbirth.
