North Staffordshire Community CAMHS (child and adolescent mental health services) provides outpatient and community mental health services and support to the population of North staffs through a range of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency staff. The team aims to improve the mental health of children and young people up to age of 18 years old.
This team comprises of consultant and other medical staff, mental health nurses and social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists and associated support workers.
Referrals
All referrals for the service are made through the Crisis Care Centre by self-referral, or via General Practitioners (GP) and other agencies including education and social care. Schools, GPs, social workers and parents can also refer through the Combined Wellbeing Portal, which children and young people can also use to self refer.
