Trust’s compliance with the Care Quality Commission

The Trust is pleased to confirm that all our registered locations with Care Quality Commission (CQC) are fully compliant against the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.

The CQC inspects most hospitals, care homes and home care agencies at least once a year and all the inspections carried out by CQC are unannounced, unless there is a very good reason for them to give notice to a healthcare provider.

During an inspection, Inspectors spend most of their time directly observing care and talking to patients or people using the service and their families or carers, as well as staff.

Inspectors may be accompanied by experts – either subject matter experts or ‘experts by experience’ (people who have in-depth experience of using services).

The Trust continues to deliver high quality, safe care for all those using our services. We continue to work with our service users, patients, their carers, our service commissioners and the Care Quality Commission to deliver the highest quality of services.

CQC and independent reviews

We are fully compliant in all CQC assessments of our services. We have met all compliance standards, in the areas assessed:

  • Care and welfare of people who use services
  • Management of medicines
  • Assessing and monitoring the quality of service provision

The Trust provides its services from a range of locations. Inspection reports for those which have been inspected by the CQC can be found here.
