We are proud to host the team supporting a dedicated Recognition of compassion scheme across the Shropshire and Staffordshire-wide health economy.
This is a simple scheme whereby there is a central point in each organisation (electronic and paper version) where staff, patients and carers can nominate someone who they feel and believe has demonstrated leading with compassion.
If you would like to participate and give recognition to someone from North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust – please complete the nomination form to send a person a special “thank you” for their efforts.
They will be sent a card, which will include your name and message but all other details will be treated confidentially. They will also receive a Leading with Compassion badge.
We recently held our Compassion Celebration Event where we shared our journey to date and also shared our emerging definition and typology of compassion which has arisen from over 1,500 nominations received as of our event date.
