Beautiful surroundings
Staffordshire is situated in the heart of England with good links to the rest of the country – Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Nottingham all less than an hour away. Stoke-on-Trent is located just off junctions 15 and 16 of the M6 motorway and on the A50, which provides a direct link from the M1 and the east of the country. Local transport is also excellent, with plenty of buses and trains, both into town areas and around the more rural locations. The local road network is relatively quiet and as staff benefit from free parking across our sites it is relatively easy to move around from site to site.
World-class leisure
Whether you enjoy the thrills of theme parks, are a budding Masterchef contestant or sports fan, Staffordshire has something for you. There are two world-class theme parks on your doorstep – Alton Towers and Drayton Manor. There is the glorious Trentham Gardens with the beautiful Trentham Lake and gardens designed by Capability Brown. If you prefer the ups and downs of sport instead, Stoke City are the local Championship League team, and there are a host of other great sports teams in the area too. Alternatively there are large number of cinemas, theatres and award-winning restaurants across the county.
Heart of England
Staffordshire is a wonderful location if you enjoy the outdoor life. There is plenty to discover from the rugged beauty of the Peak District, ancient heather heathland of Cannock Chase, the beautiful woodlands of the National Forest and the tranquil flood plains of the River Trent. There are many opportunities for cycling too, including the hidden Manifold Valley cycle track.

Shopping
From farmer’s markets to designer outlets, Staffordshire offers a range of shopping. Trentham Shopping Village offers a variety of shops and cafes whilst the Freeport Talke outlet is also easily accessible. There are also many popular street and farmer’s markets across the county. Stafford has been recently revamped and offers a wide variety of high street shopping whilst Manchester and Birmingham are just an hour away.
House prices
Whether you are looking to rent or buy, in a town or rural area, house prices in the county are well below the UK average, enabling more people to get on the property ladder and buy more for their money. According to the Land Registry’s House Price Index for May 2017, the average house price in Stoke-on-Trent was £117,000 and in Staffordshire £197,000- compared to the UK National average of £399,487.
