Combined Healthcare invites service users and stakeholders to help shape services

It is our great pleasure to invite service users and stakeholders to a special engagement event on 13th March in the Valiant Suite at Port Vale FC.

The Engagement@Combined event is an opportunity to look back and celebrate.   But also an opportunity to hear from our service users and stakeholders, to look forward and plan for the future.

We will hear from a number of fabulous initiatives and projects that have truly demonstrated the power of engagement, co-production and partnership with service users and stakeholders.

We will hear how engagement and involvement with our service users drives our Quality Agenda and give you the opportunity to give us feedback on our draft Quality Account and our draft Communications and Engagement Strategic Review.

Where can I get further details about the event?

Further details about the Engagement@Combined event, including a full Agenda and speakers, are available in the event brochure, which you can download by clicking on this link.

A day of fun activities with a serious purpose

Learning from each other should be fun.  So we will not simply expect attendees to sit and listen to us.  Instead, we will have interactive debate, live voting sessions, brainstorms and idea generation.  Everyone’s contribution will be welcomed, no perspective will be ignored. The event will also include an exhibition from many projects and initiatives across our community and our Trust, delivering innovation and results through engagement.

Your chance to shape how we communicate and engage

When we are looking at the way in which we communicate, we want to ensure that people’s communication needs are met to enable them to engage in their care, treatment and support to maximise their experience and outcomes.  And that they receive information in a timely way that meets best practice standards, legal requirements and is tailored to individual need.

So the day will include seeking your views and input into our new 3-year Strategic Review of communications and engagement.

Looking both at what we do AND how we do it

Our event will invite contributions and insights not just into what we do, but also how we do it.  Are there any new approaches or innovations which we can adopt?  How do we ensure that in innovating, we do not leave some groups or communities behind?
