Ask the Board Online

Members of the public and staff are very welcome to attend every public board.

Our Trust Board meetings are held online via Microsoft Teams – a link to enable anyone to join and participate will appear on our “Upcoming Board Meetings” page before each meeting, together with the full set of Board papers by the end of the week before the Board meeting takes place.

And we have also made it easy for anyone to ask a question in advance of our public Trust Board meeting and have it answered live.

Using this facility, anyone can use the webform below to make a comment or suggestion or ask a question in advance of each Open Trust Board meeting. A response will be provided as part of the Chair’s Report to the Board meeting. From January 2021, a video recording of this section of each Open Trust Board meeting has been made available shortly after the meeting has taken place.

By combining the new “Ask the Board Online” facility and video archive of Board proceedings, anyone can obtain a public answer without having to physically attend the Board meeting. This will be particularly helpful to anyone who would find attendance difficult, either because of disability or other personal or work commitments.

N.B. To allow time for a response to be prepared, anyone using Ask the Board Online is asked to provide their question or comment by the Monday prior to the relevant Open Trust Board Meeting.

Please note also:  the Ask The Board facility is designed to be used for questions relating to Trust Board business and responsibilities, not for individual complaints about services or treatment.  We do take all such complaints extremely seriously.  If you feel comfortable doing so, you could raise your complaint with any member of staff who will listen to your concerns. If they cannot resolve your issue they can forward it to the Complaints Team for you. You can also bring your complaint to the attention of the Chief Executive by ringing the Complaints Team on 01782 275031 or Freephone 0800 389 9676.
