North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust has been shortlisted in the ‘Improving Mental Health through Digital’ category of the HSJ Digital Awards 2023, for its All-Age Access Wellbeing Portal initiative.
The All-Age Access Wellbeing Portal aims to enhance and improve access to mental health services by providing digital access to self-help materials, as well as signposting to appropriate local and national websites. In addition the Portal enables young people, adults and those with learning disabilities to self-refer into mental health services or have referrals made on their behalf by parents carers and health care professionals.
Combined Healthcare has worked with healthcare and diagnostic software provider Dedalus as a strategic digital partner on the All-Age Access Wellbeing Portal which is powered by the Dedlaus DC4H platform. The Trust is proud to deliver a future where people are empowered to use technology to revolutionise their care. This takes the service user from traditional clinician referral to a self-empowered model where everyone can access advice, materials, and support. The All-Age Access Wellbeing Portal brings together information for clinicians, carers, schools and the wider community into one place.

The vision we held for so long has been achieved, and we have created a space for anyone to seek clinically verified information about mental wellness and learning difficulties.
“Not only that, we have created a space where our community can directly refer themselves to the Trust, in their own time, in their own words.”
