About the service
Rehabilitation is defined as a whole systems approach to recovery from mental illness that maximises an individual’s quality of life and social inclusion by encouraging their skills, promoting independence and autonomy in order to give them hope for the future and leads to successful community living through appropriate support.
The rehabilitation services work with a client group who experience long-term complex mental health problems, therefore the services are structured to offer an extended period of engagement to help individuals maximise their potential.
The service is delivered in line with the care programme approach (CPA).
