Recognise, Reflect, Reconnect – Virtual Wellbeing Week from 25 April 2022

Staff from North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust will be taking part in Together We’re Better’s first System-wide Virtual Wellbeing Week ‘Recognise, Reflect, Reconnect’ from 25 April – 1 May 2022.

With more than 60 hand-picked events, the inaugural Virtual Wellbeing Week has been especially created for all healthcare staff working in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent and their families. Shajeda Ahmed, Director of People, OD, & Inclusion at Combined Healthcare and Executive Director Lead, OD, Leadership, Inclusion and Health & Wellbeing, will be giving the opening presentation and the event is hosted by BBC Radio’s Carl Jones.

It’s a week with something for everyone, from keynote speakers who you’ll want to stop and listen to, workshops where you’ll pick up practical tips to use straightaway, laugh-out-loud moments, plus the latest thinking about our mental and physical health.

The keynote speakers are internationally renowned; athlete Sally Gunnell, former SAS solider Colin MacLachlan, leadership consultant Prof Andrew Sharman, positive psychology trainer Andy Whittaker and work and organisational psychology specialist Prof Michael West, have valuable insights for us to apply to our own lives and workplaces.

Intriguing workshops on beating burnout, mastering the brain dump and male emotional health will give everyone valuable takeaways. There are absorbing practical sessions on cocktails and mocktails, cooking with fire and doodling and we haven’t forgotten the importance of a good giggle, provided by our comedy nights, a laughter therapy session and dance moves courtesy of Strictly Staffs ‘n’ Stoke.

If you can’t catch an event live, most sessions will be available so you can catch up on-demand afterwards.

The Virtual Wellbeing Week runs from Monday 25 April to Sunday 1 May 2022. Find out more at https://www.twbstaffsandstoke.org.uk/news-and-events/staffordshire-and-stoke-on-trent-wellbeing-week-25-april-1-may-2022
